Testing 1, 2, 3 – Bixbe Listings in WordPress

You may not have heard of Bixbe yet, but it’s a neat idea for folks who sell on the internet. Bixbe will allow users to make listings for their good and place those listings in blog posts, in emails, on craigslist, on facebook, etc.

Rather than being a venue that hosts a lot of thing for sale, Bixbe puts the ability to buy and sell right where your readers and potential customers are. No extra steps for your customers to take if they want to buy your products or artwork.

I am fortunate to have been asked to be part of the beta test group on WordPress, so here we go:

[bixbe id=43752]

I would love to hear your feedback on this.

  1. John, this looks really interesting. There are so many new applications being developed, it’s hard to keep up!
I do wonder, though, if I received a link like this in, say, an email, if I would use it there. Probably not, unless I knew the person, well, personally. I do like the idea of it in blog posts, though, and this one seems to work fine here.
    Thanks for the preview!
